Rochelle "Rocky" Lieberman, Esq.

Rochelle Lieberman, Esq., is a member of the law firm of Lieberman & Brandsdorfer, LLC, where she specializes in intellectual property law (i.e. patents, trademarks, and copyrights).  Ms. Lieberman is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.  Prior to forming her law firm, Ms. Lieberman practiced as a sole practitioner for two years.  Ms. Lieberman is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as the President of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association and advised the Dean of the University of Miami School of Law on preparation of an Intellectual Property Law curriculum.  Ms. Lieberman also served as a research assistant to Professor R. Williamson and researched a paper titled "Gathering Danger: the Urgent Need to Regulate Toxic Substances That Can Bioaccumulate."  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University School of Engineering & Applied Sciences.  Ms. Lieberman served as a Patent Examiner in Group 220 of the United States Patent & Trademark Office (National Security Group).  Ms. Lieberman has also served as a computer consultant to the Columbia University Graduate School of Business; an engineering aide to the U.S. Department of Transportation: Office of Hazardous Materials; a computer programmer assistant to NASA: Goddard Space Flight Center: Cloud Simulation Research Division; and an engineering aide to the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory: Tactical Electronic Warfare Division.  Ms. Lieberman is an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners where she served as a member of the Board of Directors (1996-1998) and Executive Committee (1997- 1998), and General Counsel (1997-1998) of the National Association of Women Business Owners - Capital Area Chapter.  Ms. Lieberman also is an active member of the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (Women in Intellectual Property Law and Inventor Relations Committees) where she currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Women in Intellectual Property Law Committee.  Ms. Lieberman is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the American Bar Association (Law Practice Management Section & Business Law Section).
