Mark Brandsdorfer is a founding member of the law firm of Lieberman & Brandsdorfer, LLC, where he specializes in trademark law, business law, non-profit law, and tax law. Mr. Brandsdorfer is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Administrative Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and authored an article titled Lawyers Married to Judges: A Dilemma Facing State Judiciaries — A Case Study of the State of Texas (6 Geo. J. Legal Ethics 635 (1993)). He graduated with a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Accounting from the Sy Syms School of Business.
Mr. Brandsdorfer also authored a chapter on preparing for and managing an IRS audit for colleges and universities (Chapter 400: Preparing for and Managing an IRS Audit, Fed. Auditing Info. Serv. for Higher Educ., NACUBO (June 1994)). Mr. Brandsdorfer has also authored articles for the United Cerebral Palsy Association regarding corporate documents and new developments in personnel management (Developing Governance Documents: Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, UCPAdvisor, United Cerebral Palsy Ass’n, Inc. (Fall 1994) & Trends in Human Resources Management, UCPAdvisor, United Cerebral Palsy Ass’n, Inc. (Winter 1995)).
Mr. Brandsdorfer is a member of the Maryland, District of Columbia & New York Bars, and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (Business Law and Intellectual Property Sections), and The District of Columbia Bar (Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Law Practice Management Communities). Mr. Brandsdorfer has been a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section) (1994-1999). Mr. Brandsdorfer is also a Maryland Certified Public Accountant (Inactive).
